While some dysfunctions take longer to resolve, frequent weekly visits for months are often unnecessary*. Ultimately, quality of treatment matters more than quantity.

Dr. Mitchell Guberman, DPT, CMTPT, is a Houston-based physical therapist with over 14 years of experience treating a diverse range of patient populations across Texas.

Originally hailing from Miami, Florida, Dr. Guberman now calls Houston home, where he and his wife delight in the joyful chaos of parenting their energetic little boy and their sassy mini dachshund, Oscar. Committed to providing compassionate, personalized care, Dr. Guberman empowers his patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals and enhance their quality of life.

  • PMPT is a fee-for-service practice and does not accept insurance. Patients pay doctor directly for treatment.

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept walk-ins. Please contact us to book an appointment or for more information.

  • During your first physical therapy session, you can expect a comprehensive evaluation of your condition, which will include a review of your medical history, an assessment of your current abilities, and the creation of a customized treatment plan.

  • Dress comfortably:
    Wear loose-fitting clothes that provide ease of movement/access.

    Bring a list of questions
    Prepare a list of questions about your condition, your treatment plan, or any concerns you'd like to address.

    Communicate your pain levels and symptoms:
    Be ready to describe your pain, including when it happens, what relieves or worsens it, and how it affects your daily activities.

    Wear comfortable shoes:
    Choose footwear that is supportive and easy to move in during your visit.
